Beginning of a new year and a new start for Castian. He is more alert when he wakes up now and moves around quite a bit, too much in fact. they hae to sometimes give him chloral-hydrate so he doesn't move around and pull at tubes.
Todays progress is they took out one of his chest tubes. Also epinephrine and milrinone he is off,down on morphine, up on milk . And the respirator has been turned down. We have also been told that he may go back to calgary when he off the respirator. I can hardly wait. We miss the kids and we miss being a family.
One less chest tube coming out of him.
