All Cas's pups for his meds and painkillers.( there is Morphine, milrinone, aldactazide, epinephrine, potassium, lipids, madazalam, heparin, lasix and amino acids)
View of the Stollery PICU...it's all open. no walls between beds.
There is one less line there...they took out the left atrial pressure line. the in his nose is a NG tube( to stomach), a NJ tube ( to intestine) and the respirator which also has monitors to measure CO2 and pressure , Right arm is a Arterial line for iv meds, White black green wires are monitors for RSP, HR, . Big pinkish tubes are drainage lines, these are taking fluid off his lungs and around his heart. Blue and white blocks are connected to wires by his heart for a pacemaker ( they haven't used the pacemaker yet, they keep it there just in case)),
What you can't see is around his foot is a pulse ox monitor, under his diaper he has a urine catheter so they can measure how much he is peeing. And in his left arm is a PICC line for IV meds. There's an IV line in his scalp, its used for nothing at the moment. I think i got them all, may have missed one or two, but does it really matter?.
and a short video of him 2days post op
