Recently this question was posed to me "do you wish your child did not have Ds?"..... After much thought after initially answering this question .... I'm not going to take the time to answer it anymore!, all that matters is HERE, NOW and a little boy Who does have Ds!
For me to even contemplate this question is well in a word - pointless! I can't change it so why think about it.
What matters is now and how much a little boy is loved and wanted.
On top of this if I think about it - to pose this question is not fair to Castian!. To contemplate even for a fraction of a second he was different is not fair. Can u imagine as a child your parents wishing you were something your not? How unfair. My typical kids - I don't go around wishing I could change their eye color or hair color. So why is it fair to ask that about my chromosonally enhanced child?
My new answer is" I love Castian for who he is just as I love my other three, don't ask me, In my opinion it's not a fair question to ask.
I'm surprised people ask...I have never had someone ask me that.
ReplyDeleteGOOD FOR YOU ARLENE! If Cas Didn't have DS would he still be Cas... If Hunter Didn't have DS he wouldnt be Hunter. Having DS is part of what makes Hunter Hunter! And GDI Hunter ROCKS!
